Run your store confidently

Short, honest guides for every stage — from the first click to the hundredth order.

1 · Create your store

From nothing to a working shop in about twenty seconds.

  1. Create your account — name, email, password. Verify your email from the link we send.
  2. Sign in and you land in the store wizard. Choose what you sell — forty-two industries, searchable, from jewellery to dental clinics and CA practices. Each carries its own starter categories, product layout, copy and imagery.
  3. Pick a design family. The wizard pre-selects the family that suits your industry; the preview above the picker shows the real store you'll get.
  4. Name your store, choose your address (yourname.shopcust.com), set your timezone and currency, and press Create my store.

The build takes ~20 seconds and runs a full self-check — pages render, checkout works, categories exist — before it tells you it's done. If any step fails you see exactly which.

Tip: the "Delivery & contact" panel in the wizard is optional — sensible defaults apply and everything there can be changed later in Settings.

2 · Add products

Your catalogue lives in one place; the storefront follows it live.

3 · Customise in the Studio

The Studio is your store, editable — what you see is literally the live page.

Nothing is locked: the theme you picked at signup is a starting point. Family, palette, sections and copy can all change any time, live.

4 · Delivery & payments

Set your money rules once; storefront, cart and invoices all follow.

5 · Orders & fulfilment

Every order moves through a pipeline your customer can feel.

  1. New orders appear in Orders with items, totals, address and payment state.
  2. Press Ship when it leaves — courier + tracking number. The tracking link, the order timeline and the customer's WhatsApp update all happen from that one action.
  3. On Delivered, the timeline closes and — a few days later — the customer gets a review request; reviews show on your storefront.
  4. Abandoned carts — see who left a full cart and send a recovery link that restores it exactly as they left it.

6 · Your store address

Every store gets its own address the moment it exists.

7 · Import from Shopify

Already selling somewhere else? Bring the catalogue, keep the momentum.

  1. In the wizard, choose Import my catalog instead of "Start fresh" — the store is created the same way, then lands you in the importer.
  2. Upload your Shopify export (or a CSV). Products, variants, prices and images come across; SKUs keep variant identity intact.
  3. Review the import summary, then open the Studio — your store is dressed and stocked.

8 · FAQ

Is it really free to start?
Yes — open your store, add products and sell. We'll always tell you before anything costs money.

Do I need to know design or code?
No. The store you get on day one is already designed; the Studio and the AI handle everything after.

Can I change my theme later?
Any time, live, without losing products or content — family, colours and layout are all re-dressable.

What about my customers' data?
Your store runs in its own isolated workspace. Your catalogue, orders and customers are yours alone.

I'm stuck — who do I ask?
Write to support@shopcust.com — a person answers.

The docs will still be here — your store might as well exist while you read them.
