1 · Create your store
From nothing to a working shop in about twenty seconds.
- Create your account — name, email, password. Verify your email from the link we send.
- Sign in and you land in the store wizard. Choose what you sell — forty-two industries, searchable, from jewellery to dental clinics and CA practices. Each carries its own starter categories, product layout, copy and imagery.
- Pick a design family. The wizard pre-selects the family that suits your industry; the preview above the picker shows the real store you'll get.
- Name your store, choose your address (
yourname.shopcust.com), set your timezone and currency, and press Create my store.
The build takes ~20 seconds and runs a full self-check — pages render, checkout works, categories exist — before it tells you it's done. If any step fails you see exactly which.
2 · Add products
Your catalogue lives in one place; the storefront follows it live.
- Open Catalogue from the sidebar. New product asks only what matters: name, price, photos, category, stock.
- Variants — add sizes, colours or materials; each variant carries its own stock, price and photos. The product page renders a proper selector automatically.
- Photos — upload straight from your phone or desktop; the store serves them sized and compressed.
- A product is visible when it's active and has a category; drafts stay hidden until you're ready.
3 · Customise in the Studio
The Studio is your store, editable — what you see is literally the live page.
- Open Store Studio from Settings. The left panel lists your store's sections; the right side is the real storefront.
- Branding — logo, colours, hero imagery, headline. Changing family or accent re-dresses the whole store coherently; nothing needs re-doing per page.
- Sections — add, remove and reorder blocks: hero, collections, bestsellers, testimonials, story, FAQ, contact and more.
- Ask the AI — describe the change ("make it feel more festive", "add a gifting collection with the silver pieces") and review what it did in the live preview.
4 · Delivery & payments
Set your money rules once; storefront, cart and invoices all follow.
- Shipping — flat fee, free above a threshold, or always free.
- Cash on delivery — toggle per store. Orders are OTP-verified so COD stays clean.
- GST — set your rate; prices and invoices stay consistent.
5 · Orders & fulfilment
Every order moves through a pipeline your customer can feel.
- New orders appear in Orders with items, totals, address and payment state.
- Press Ship when it leaves — courier + tracking number. The tracking link, the order timeline and the customer's WhatsApp update all happen from that one action.
- On Delivered, the timeline closes and — a few days later — the customer gets a review request; reviews show on your storefront.
- Abandoned carts — see who left a full cart and send a recovery link that restores it exactly as they left it.
6 · Your store address
Every store gets its own address the moment it exists.
- Your store lives at
yourname.shopcust.com— chosen in the wizard, yours immediately. - Own a domain (like
yourbrand.in)? Custom domains can be connected to your store — write to us and we'll wire it with you.
7 · Import from Shopify
Already selling somewhere else? Bring the catalogue, keep the momentum.
- In the wizard, choose Import my catalog instead of "Start fresh" — the store is created the same way, then lands you in the importer.
- Upload your Shopify export (or a CSV). Products, variants, prices and images come across; SKUs keep variant identity intact.
- Review the import summary, then open the Studio — your store is dressed and stocked.
8 · FAQ
Is it really free to start?
Yes — open your store, add products and sell.
We'll always tell you before anything costs money.
Do I need to know design or code?
No. The store you get on day one is already
designed; the Studio and the AI handle everything after.
Can I change my theme later?
Any time, live, without losing products or
content — family, colours and layout are all re-dressable.
What about my customers' data?
Your store runs in its own isolated workspace.
Your catalogue, orders and customers are yours alone.
I'm stuck — who do I ask?
Write to
support@shopcust.com — a person answers.
